Living Room
As you step inside Bear Hugs, you’ll be greeted by an inviting atmosphere and comfortable spaces. In the living area, large windows bring lush wooded views indoors, adding a touch of serenity to the room. Looking for a bit of entertainment? Flip on the flatscreen TV, pop in your favorite DVD, and lean back in the recliner for a fun movie night — with extra buttery popcorn on the coffee table! On cool Smoky Mountain nights, curl up by the wood-burning fireplace with that special someone on the sofa. Hours will fly by as you relax and chat about the day in this lovely living space.
Kitchen
Need a snack refill or another glass of wine? Head to the nearby kitchen — fully equipped with appliances, pots and pans, mugs, dishware, and more! Whip up a hot meal on the stove, store restaurant leftovers in the fridge, rinse fresh veggies and fruits in the stainless-steel double sink, warm treats in the microwave, and brew a pot of coffee whenever you please. And don’t forget to start the dishwasher before venturing downtown to explore the area.
Dining Area
From quick breakfasts to homemade dinners to midnight munchies, the dining area for 2 is the perfect place to enjoy your Smoky Mountain meals. Rec Room
When you’re ready for a fun time, visit the rec room, which features gorgeous hardwood floors, a classic pool table, and a mounted flatscreen TV. There’s even a ceiling fan to keep things cool in case any matches get too heated.
Bedrooms
At night, head to your primary suite for a snooze in the comfortable king-size bed. This private escape — harboring an en-suite bathroom, flatscreen TV, and romantic balcony — will set the stage for romantic evenings. And if the kids come along, they can retreat to the loft with a twin bunk bed, CD player, and wash area. The loft also boasts another deck with seating, great for morning coffee with the mountains.

We stayed at bear hugs and the cabin was exactly as portrayed in the pictures. It was clean the beds are comfortable I had no problems with the hot tub or the air conditioning, the kitchen was all stocked and everything was set up very nicely. How and when do I pay?
- If your arrival date is more than 120 days out:
- - 15% of the balance is due now, half of the balance is due at 120 days and the remainder is due 30 days prior to check-in.
- If your arrival date is between 31 and 120 days out:
- - Half of the total is due now and the remainder is due 30 days prior to check-in.
- If your arrival date is less than or equal to 30 days out:
- - Your entire balance is due at booking.

Our Property Protection Plans cover unintentional damages to your cabin during your stay and different levels of protection.
- $54 = $1500 in coverage / No security deposit

What do additional fees cover?
We want to ensure each guest has a clean, comfortable place to stay. The additional fees cover property cleanup of your cabin once you’ve checked out, reservation fee, taxes and service fee.

What is your cancellation policy?
4+ bedroom cabins: No cancellation or change of cabin or dates within 6 months of stay.
1-3 bedroom cabins: No cancellation or change of cabin or dates within 3 months of stay.
CFY offers cancellation protection that allows you to cancel your reservation at any point prior to initial use of your key code on your arrival date. Please see details when checking out.
Do you have any pet friendly cabins?
Yes, we have quite a few options for pet-friendly vacations! Check out our wide selection online!
What amenities are offered in all your cabins?
Each of our cabins has a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, stove/oven, and varying countertop appliances), shared living spaces for guests, a dining table and/or breakfast bar for in-cabin dining, and cozy bedrooms. Most feature wireless internet, flatscreen TVs, washers and dryers, decks with wooded or mountain views, and some games or game tables! You can browse by amenity online to find the perfect fit.
What should we bring from home?
You’ll supply your own food, drinks, toiletries, charcoal and lighter fluid (for charcoal grills), propane (for gas grills; check cabin before purchasing), and any other movies or games you’d enjoy on vacation!
We’ll give you a starter supply of:
- 1 trash bag per container
- 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom
- 1 bar of soap per bathroom
Do you provide bedding and towels?
We provide all linens, along with 1 towel and 1 washcloth per person (based on property sleeps advertised). Many of our cabins have washers and dryers, so it is easy to use only the towels we provide. If your cabin does not have a washer/dryer, you may want to bring extra towels from home.
What’s provided in the kitchen?

Do all your cabins have Wi-Fi?
Most of our cabins offer high-speed wireless internet, but not all. Please check the amenities list and description, or check with your Vacation Specialist when booking!
What is the check-in and checkout process?
Check-in is easy with Cabins for YOU. Each cabin has an electronic keypad, and we’ll supply the unique code for your cabin 2 days before check-in. No keys, no going to an office. You’ll use this to unlock your cabin each time you enter. Checkout is equally simple. Just shut the door behind you as you leave and it will automatically lock!
Check-in/out times: Check-in starts at 4 p.m. EST with guaranteed check-in at 6 p.m. Checkout time is 10 a.m. EST. We can’t guarantee early check-ins or late checkouts, but you can check with your Vacation Specialist. Hourly fees apply for early check-ins.
Before leaving, please be sure to:
- Place towels and washcloths in the bathtub (We’ll take care of bedding!)
- Put trash in proper containers
- Clean used dishes
- Clean any large messes made during stay
- Lock the door behind you
How/when do I get directions to my cabin?
Once you’ve made your reservation, you’ll receive a confirmation email that will have the directions to your cabin rental.

What is your policy for hot tub, swim spa, and pool use?
Please report any issues regarding cleanliness of hot tubs, swim spas, or pools upon arrival. We will do our best to resolve them right away. To keep these spaces clean and serviceable for all guests, please shower off before using and refrain from using any lotions or oils. If issues are reported more than 24 hours after arrival, any additional cleaning fees will be charged to current guest.
CFY Quality Rating System
Bronze
Overall outdated and/or has worn out elements. There is little to no coordination in furniture and decor. Most furniture items are of lower quality such as cloth couches, laminate countertops, and particle board cabinets.

Gold
Good quality accommodations. These properties are high quality, but all elements might not be considered luxury in nature. There might be more wear on furniture, deck/exterior, etc. TVs are flat screen, but might not be the newest in quality. Might have stone countertops with updated appliances that aren’t stainless steel. These properties have some elements of the Platinum level, but elements are either slightly outdated, worn, or not as high quality.
Platinum
Luxury accommodations. All elements are of high quality, design, and are up-to-date. Consistent furniture and decor in each room. Unique touches such as stone designs, barnwood/shiplap, full log pillars are often found in these properties.
